Here we are, the last test of the series with absolutely nothing to play for.
It’s quite depressing really, but all England can aim to do now is take a bit of joy out of their Aussie celebrations, and give a few of the touring party a run out at the SCG.
Yep, I think they should play both Potts and Bashir, why not? There’s not a huge amount of pressure.
Sure, it would be nice to drag a second test back, we could use it to highlight just how evenly matched these teams really are…but we all know that simply isn’t true.
Bashir to take 10 in the match and keep himself in the squad for the next two years, and good on him.
